Meet the Food Hypnotist

My name is Patrick Molloy, the Food Hypnotist. Why the fancy title? Here’s why…. I absolutely love helping people to free themselves of habits, compulsions, fears and anxieties, and food has become a major source of such troubles in this day and age.

Here’s how it started. Whilst practising as a hypnotist and psychotherapist I spent a lot of time working with people and helping them with all sorts of issues. Weight loss, body-image issues, cravings and/or compulsive eating occupied a lot of my time. Yes, I got good results and felt satisfied I was doing good work. Deep down though, I found them puzzling. Why didn’t they just eat healthily? Why didn’t they believe in themselves? I read every book I could find on the subject of food, diet, psychology and exercise. I sought out advanced specialized training in hypnosis and cutting edge therapy techniques. Gradually the parts of the puzzle started to fit together.

Body Image Issues

Around this time, a number of people suffering with eating disorders sought help from me. I saw similar cycles of thinking and behaviour to those seen in the overweight population, but further complicated by body image issues and a high desire for control. It struck me how tragic it was to see these lovely, talented young people having their lives blighted and health compromised in this way.

I resolved that I would do everything in my power to seek out the answers so that these people could receive the support, assistance and understanding necessary to find their way out of the maze. My deepest wish is for my clients to regain health, self respect and self acceptance.

Issues I Can Help With

Do I have all the answers? No. But I have developed some fantastically effective ways of helping people find their own answers.
I love what I do. It changes people’s lives and sometimes it even saves people’s lives.
